Axiom Microdevices, provider of the world’s first and only fully integrated CMOS power amplifier for GSM/GPRS mobile handsets, seeks a senior mixed signal design engineer.

• Extensive experience in the design of highly integrated mixed signal circuits
• Circuit primitive designs should include Analog to digital converters, Digital to analog converters. Analog filter blocks. Op Amps, regulators and other linear macros.
• Extensive experience in multiple converter design techniques, including sigma delta, pipeline, flash, etc.
• Extensive experience in integrated analog filter design, both continuous time and sampled.
• Ability to architect mixed signal subsystems, and interface to a digital design resource for the detailed implementation
• Should be able to behaviorally model mixed signal subsystems, using tools such as
• Matlab, and programming languages such as C++
• Knowledge of Cadence design tools
• Strong knowledge of physical design requirements
• Should have been involved in laboratory testing of his/her own prototypes
• Familiarity with commonly used laboratory equipment
• Understanding of semiconductor packaging and production testing
• Should have worked as a key team member, not necessarily a manager or group leader, but should be ready and willing to step up to the challenge of increased project responsibility within a dynamic environment
